Johannes Weyer, owner of MORE Cargobike, is a Riese&Müller dealer in Berlin and designs professional built-ups for e-cargobikes. In 2020, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, he had the idea of renting out e-cargobikes with camping equipment for road trips in Brandenburg. In collaboration with Humboldt Tours Berlin, this resulted in a pilot project (2021) with several rental stations and route concepts for multi-day cargo bike trips.

On behalf of the ‘Museumsverband des Landes Brandenburg e.V.’, a bicycle tourism offer was designed in the form of flyers for Brandenburg museums. "The increasing enthusiasm for cycling and the ambition of many people to explore the Brandenburg region by bike encouraged the museum association to develop day tours by bike on the subject of industrial culture. Each tour focuses on a Brandenburg museum with a focus on industry (Museen-Brandenburg)."

Radreise Uckermark
Humboldt Tours Berlin and Tourismusverein Angermünde e.V. piloted the "Radreise Uckermark" project in 2022: a family vacation with e-cargo bikes just outside Berlin.
